Shapes

John Smith|June 7, 2021

Rakes and dog house shapes are available in all of our window product lines, but for all other shapes, look to Series 3000, our most flexible window line.  The steps in this document will work for any window series.

Start From a Model

To add shapes to an order you must start with a model from our library, rather than building a custom configuration.  From the main page of your quote, click the “Add a Line Item” icon on the bottom right hand of the screen and select the “New Model” option.

This will take you to the Sales Documents > Quote # > New Model page, where you can select the shape you’re looking for from our library of available models.

First, select the window series you are looking for, then select the folder for shapes.

Finally, select the exact type of shape you are trying to build.  If you can’t find the shape you are trying to build, please call your inside sales rep to see if that is something we can accommodate for you outside of SmartQuote.

These selections will take you to the Line Item detail page where you can edit all of the details of this shaped window per your customers’ requirements.  Edit dimensions within the image by clicking on any of the dimensions and writing over the existing dimensions, or go to the Dimensions tab on the right of the screen.  All other window options such as glass and hardware can be selected in the options configurator on the right of the screen.  See the article, “How to Select Options” for more on that topic.
